Cherry Margarita

Now clearly you know your girl loves a cocktail, and I spend a lot of time experimenting with fun new drinks. So when I tell you this is hands down the best cocktail I have ever made, it’s no joke. I had had the concept for this in my head, living in the PNW cherries are something we have access to all summer. We even happen to have a cherry tree in our yard, so it seemed like it was about time to add it to a cocktail.

Ingredients:

1 oz Cherry Simple syrup

1.5 oz Lime Juice

1 oz Amaretto

1.5 oz Tequila

Pitted fresh cherries for garnish

Cherry Simple Syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup Granulated Sugar

1 cup Fresh or frozen Bing Cherries

Add sugar and water to a medium sauce pan over low heat.

Whisk the sugar until its dissolved.

Add the cherries

Fill A shaker with Ice.

Add Tequila, lime juice, ameritti and cherry simple syrup to the shaker.

Then you know the drill, add the top and shake it.

Pour the margarita over Ice and top with pitted Bing Cherries.

Now try not to drink ten and turn into the neighborhood drunk!

Cheers Babes

XOXO
