Moss Topiary

I have a few planters that I have wanted a large-scale moss topiary for. Like any girl, I go straight to the internet to start my research, only to be very disappointed at the very steep price tag. There has to be a better option…. you know where this is going, right?? I’m going to show you the better option. Buckle up buttercup!

You will need to run to your local “Wally-World” and pick up a large ball; I choose green in case some of the ball shows through. Adhesive spray glue (you can find this in the craft aisle) and moss. I bought about 7 bags of it.

To start, I laid out some parchment paper to avoid making a mess… It turns out spray glue can really spray and was everywhere. But it did wash up easily.

The next step is simple: spray the ball with the glue and attach the moss, repeat until the ball is fully covered.

That’s it, easy peasy lemon squeezy. In no time at all, and we have the cutest rubber ball covered in moss. And no one has to know it didn’t cost you a fortune. Happy DIYing.

Cheers Babes
