Honey & Thyme Simple Syrup

Clearly, this mama loves a cocktail, but she really loves a fancy cocktail. My favorite is when we get a night out, and I get to order something fun that I would not make at home. I have learned that a flavored simple syrup will spruce up the simplest of drinks. You also know I’m here for anything easy, with no crazy ingredients. So Thyme from my garden and honey from the pantry it is!!!

Ingredients:

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Water

1/3 cup Honey

1 bunch Fresh Thyme

In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the sugar and water and mix until dissolved.

Add in the honey and Thyme and let simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove the Thyme from the syrup and discard.

Once cooled, place into a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to a month.

I like to add this to anything from Champagne cocktails to vodka soda. Your options are endless!

Cheers Babes
