The Perfect Waffle

My family loves what they like to call a “big breakfast” on the weekends. Over the years, I've had plenty of opportunities to perfect my breakfast game. One of our favorites is a classic waffle. This recipe is everything you are looking for in a waffle; sweet, crispy, and fluffy.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup Flour

1 1/4 cup Almond Flour

1/2 cup Sugar

1 tablespoon Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Salt

2 cup Milk

3 tablespoon Oil

2 Eggs

1 teaspoon Vanilla

Makes 10 waffles:

Pre heat waffle iron

Start by mixing all the dry ingredients into a bowl and whisk together.

Add oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla to the bowl.

Mix until it’s well combined.

Spray waffle maker with pan spray.

Place 1/3 cup batter into each waffle mold (or however much it holds)

My waffle maker has a set timer to determine how long to cook the waffles. It usually only takes 3-5 minutes depending how dark/crispy you like them.

Top with butter, maple syrup, or fresh fruit. These are the perfect way to kick off the weekend. I will usually make a double batch so the babes can eat them for breakfast for the next few days.

Cheers Babes

XOXO
