Kiwi Margarita
Yes, you read that right, Kiwi! It’s an unexpected and underrated addition.
This mama loves herself a margarita, and I'm always looking for a fun and new way to mix it up (literally). Being that it's Cinco De Mayo, I thought it was the perfect time to share this family favorite.
Ingredients:
1Kiwi
6 oz Fresh Lime Juice
2 tablespoon Agave Syrup plus more to rim glass
3 oz Tequila (2 shots)
2 oz Contreau
Korse salt to rim glass
Make 2 cocktails:
On a small plate or bowl, add a tablespoon of Agave syrup. On another plate, add the salt. Rim the glass in the agave first and then the salt (to help the salt stick to the glass).
Muddle 3-4 slices of Kiwi and a tablespoon of Agave syrup in a large glass.
Next add 1 shot tequila, 1 oz Contreau, and 3 oz lime Juice.
Stir it up and add ice.
Add a fresh lime wedge or a kiwi slice to the glass for garnish (ya gotta make it pretty). Now, because it's a holiday, you have free range to drink as many as you want! Go on with your bad self and get crazy! No judgies here.
Happy Cinco de Mayo
Cheers Babes
