Aperol Spritz

The weather is starting to change. We have already had so many beautiful, bright, and sunny days. Que Oprah with her arms wide open screaming AHHHHHH!!! When the sunshine hits, I want all the fun summer drinks. Mama needs a patio and a cocktail. This is one of my favorite go-to cocktails because it’s easy, and I always have the ingredients on hand. I mean, who are we kidding? I have the ingredients for almost any cocktail on hand at all times!! I want to help convert all my fellow basic B’s who sip bubbles all summer to level up your beverage game.

Classic Aperol Spritz

3 oz Dry Prosecco

3 oz Aperol

1 oz Club Soda

Garnish with an orange peel

In a glass over crushed ice, add the 3 oz of Prosecco

Next, add 3 oz of Aperol and top with club soda

Stir carefully with a spoon to combine ingredients (you don’t want to stir too much, or you will lose the fizz in your drink).

Garnish with an orange wedge or peel.

Now find yourself a patio and pretend you are Grace Kelly in Monaco while you sip on this sophisticated concoction!
