The Sweetest Little Easter Table
If you have been her for long you know I love all the pretty and sweet little details. This table had ALL THE THINGS!! The sweet bows, scalloped charger, darling little pink plates and theses gorgeous white tulips. Everything about this table makes me so happy. We use our dining room table to eat dinner at every night and we have had dinner the past 2 nights because I can’t bring myself to break it down and put it all away.
I started with these place mats from World Market, I love the texture and the scallop edges. I added my Pottery Barn caters plates and these sweet little pink salad plates also from world market. In-between the two I sandwiched the most beautiful light blue linen napkins from Williams and Sonoma. I love the stitch detail on the edge of them. I turned the whole setting to the side a bit, I like the way it adds a whole other element to the place setting. Then I wrapped the whole thing up in a pretty gross grain bow and added a few of these beautiful tulips. On each side of my plate I have some antique brass flatware and my favorite Kate Spade water goblets.
I love how simple all of these elements are and how easy they could be switched for things you already have. Don’t have blue napkins…. do you have white? or a tan/flax color? that works too. cont have pink plate… white would also work. If you are using white plate and napkins try bring some color in with your tulips and us a light pink instead of white. It can all be interchangeable its the concept of layering it all together that is really what make it what it is. So I encourage you to think outside the box and woke with some things you may already have.
To the middle of my table I have added a pink linen table runner and topped it with a few mismatched candle sticks 2 low profile vases with more tulips and some large mercury glass eggs (they are from pottery barn but are sold out at this time but they have them every spring.) I added some shredded craft paper that is for easter basket filler in-between my decor to add some texture and fulness to my table. And there you have it…. The sweetest little easter table ready for celebrating. Give your self a pat on the back not only did you set an amazing table you have mede it through the lenten season without, Im assuming one of 2 things booze or candy! Or is that just me??
Happy Easter Friends
