Leather Couch Maintenance
We have had this beautiful leather sofa from Restoration Hardware for about 7 years now. I love how it just seems to get better with age. This was the fist piece of leather furniture we had ever owned so I was not really sure how to care for it. After some research and testing out certain products I feel like I have finally come up with what works best.
To start I like to vacuum the sofa really well with a hand held vacuum. I pull off the cushions, cringe once I see how gross it truly is under there and then vacuum our sins away. Our sofa is tufted so I like to use the vacuum to get the dust out of all the nooks and crannies.
Once I get the sofa vacuumed I use a dry cloth to wipe it all down to get all of the dust off of it. I will use the rag to get in-between the pipping of the cushions and any large folds in the leather.
I will usually do this once or twice a year to keep my sofa looking a feeling like new.
Cheers Babes
