Cranberry Jello-Shots
Is it even a party without Jello-shots?? I think not. So if you are gearing up to ring in the New Year, do not leave these out. I have made these quite a few times over the holidays, and they were always a hit. I love that they actually have cranberries in them, so not only is the flavor amazing, but they have a fun texture too. Cranberries also seem a bit more sophisticated than something in a neon color.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Cranberry Juice
2 tablespoon unflavored Gelatin
1 cup fresh Cranberries
Slice Orange Peel
2 tablespoon Sugar
1/2 cup Tripple Sec
1/2 cup Vodka
Place 1/2 cup cranberry juice in a bowl, pour gelatin over the top, and mix and set aside.
Place 1 cup juice, cranberries, sugar, and orange peel in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let cook for about 10 minutes until thick. Mash the berries as it simmers.
Remove orange peel.
In the bowl with the gelatin, add vodka and triple sec and mix.
Pour the warm cranberry mix over the gelatin mixture and stir until combined.
Pour into shot glasses and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
Then get the party started!! (Like the time you dressed up as a cowgirl and danced on the table at the pike house!)
Cheers Babes
