Mini Pumpkin Wreath
So clearly, your girl loves her some pumpkins. I saw these cute mini pumpkins at the fabric store and knew I had to do something fun with them. Que the paint and my trusty hot glue gun. I'm going to take these little cuties, dress them up, and glue them to the wreath form for the perfect whimsy little door decor. Ok, I lied; I'm going to do it twice because I have French doors.
Materials:
70 Mini pumpkins
3-4 coordinating paint color
Paint brush
Spray paint
Hot glue gun and glue
Parchment paper
Styrafom wreath form
Matching ribbon (because yes!!)
I started out by dividing my pumpkins into equal groups for how many colors I had picked out.
I started to paint each pumpkin by hand. (this is a great time to turn on the hallmark channel and get cozy).
I gave each pumpkin two coats of paint and then painted the stems gold for a little something extra.
I also spray-painted the wreath forms gold so the white would not show through in-between my pumpkins.
Once the pumpkins were dry, I started to glue them onto the form in a like color pattern.
Once they are all on, I add my ribbon and pop those little cuties on the door.
I then sit on my curb for a good 15 minutes, enjoying my hard work. Damn, I am one crafty Bitch!
