Crispy Marshmallow Brownies

A gooey marshmallow and a crispy chocolate topping is the perfect addition to a batch of chocolate brownies. It's a fun way to dress up something simple like brownies and make it seem like you spent more time on. I love a homemade brownie… but there is a time and a place to take short cuts. Use the Ghirardelli Double Chocolate brownie mix for this; the flavor profile still tastes amazing and allows for a great dessert in a short time.



2 boxes Brownie Mix

1 cup Chocolate Chips

1 cup Butterscotch Chips

1 bag Marshmallows

1 jar Nutella

2 1/2 cups Rice Crispy

1/2 cup Butter


Follow the instructions and prepare the brownies as the box suggests.

Once the brownies come out of the oven; pour the bag of marshmallows over the top, spread out and place back in the oven to melt. This takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

In a glass bowl: add chips, butter, and Nutella. Place in the microwave and melt in 30 second increments. If you try to cook your chocolate too fast it will seize up.

Once your chocolate/butter/nutella mixture is melted; add in your Rice Crispys and gently fold it in.

Spread mixture out over the top of your brownie and marshmallows.

Let cool for 20 minutes and then try not to eat the whole pan in one setting….. but no judgment if you do!!
