The sweetest little Christmas Wreath

Now, I have been told a time or two that I have a champagne taste on a beer budget. But let me tell you, where there is a will, there is a way. Nobody puts baby in a corner, and I’m sure as hell not going to be stopped by a big price tag! Not to mention, immitation is clearly the highest form of flattery. So when I saw a very pretty wreath in the window of one of my favorite stores, I knew I had to figure out how to recreate it. Lucky for you, I went through all the trouble, so you don’t have to. Well, you still have to make it, but I’ll tell you how.

Tools:

Basic Wreath (I went with flocked)

mini house ornaments x 5

mini bottle brush trees in a few colors

cotton batting

hot glue gun

Accrilyac paint (I used three colors, pink, yellow, and blue)

Paint brushes

Ribbon (don’t act like your girl was not going to sneak this in)

Start by painting each house a different color and set them aside to dry.

Lay out each house and tree onto the wreath where you would like them placed.

Slowly start to glue each house and tree onto the wreath.

Take the cotton batting and glue it to the bottom of each house to make it look like snow. I also added a little to the top of the chimneys to make it look like smoke.

Once all my houses were secured to the wreath, I added my ribbon and hung it up.

The craft, no joke, took maybe 15-20 minutes from start to finish.

My little houses light up, but you could also add some battery-operated light to the wreath for another touch of Christmas magic.

Hang it up and enjoy all that money still in your pocket and the satisfaction that you are a badass crafty bitch.

Cheers Babes

XOXO
